Ops-Core® AMP (Adaptive Mission Platform) headsets are designed to maintain natural hearing and sound localization. Advanced 3D Hear-Through technology and hearing protection capabilities in the Ops-Core® AMP Headset further enhance situational awareness and user safety.

For optimal flexibility and performance, the modular headset can be easily configured to meet a wide range of mission needs with options for headband or helmet mounted use, single or double hearing protection, single or multi-channel communications, and changeable Camo Skin Sets.

Key Features:

  • Unprecedented audio quality with the ability to operate in combat environments while maintaining hearing, tactical ear protection, along with communication capabilities.
  • 3D Hear-Through Technology (3DHT) restores and enhances “natural hearing” of outside environment for improved situational awareness. Ear-simulator design reproduces ambient sounds with a high degree of directional accuracy.
  • Earseals are ergonomically designed to fit head geometry, providing better seal and increased noise attenuation.
  • 3DHT shuts down after 2 hours of inactivity to preserve battery life. In the event of battery loss, 3DHT will power down leaving headset and earplugs to operate for standard communication.
  • The noise-cancelling microphone mitigates background noise, enabling clear communication. Can be mounted to left or right earcup or removed as preferred.
  • Dual configuration capability quickly adapts headset to either headband or helmet-mounted preference based on operational requirements.
  • *NOTE: This version is NOT compatible with the Ops-Core® NFMI earplugs.
  • *NOTE: This version’s fixed downlead can either be a U174 EU or a U174 US NATO configuration. It is IMPORTANT to choose a PTT with the SAME wiring when you want to use one!

Optional Ops-Core® AMP Helmet Mount Kit:

  • Rail Mount Arms allow for mounting to the rear of ARC Rails, leaving the top portion of the rails free for mounting accessories, such as lights, cameras, etc. This also creates better helmet stabilization and a counterbalancing effect of forward shroud mounted devices, such as night vision devices.
  • A single point gimbal attachment to the ear cups allow for 360˚ adjustment, which not only allows for better fitment and seal to the user’s unique ear/ head shape, but maintains that seal and moves more naturally with their head movement.
  • Earcups rotate to the side or rear of helmet when not in use, creating a very low profile.

*NOTE: When adding the AMP Helmet Mounts to your order, these will be delivered in the same color as the chosen headset color.

Meaning SNR (Signal Number Rating)
The SNR is an average passive reduction provided over different frequencies. Usually measured going from 125 Hertz up to 8000 Hertz. An example: Your ear protection offers 25 Decibels (dB) and you’re in an environment with 100 dB, underneath the ear protection you will experience 75 dB (100 dB – 25 dB = 75 dB).
