Based around a new system called TMAS (Tactical Modular Audio System), this generation features clear, reliable wireless communication that removes the cable(s) between the headset and Push-To-Talk (PTT), helping to increase overall mobility. The system offers flexibility and scalability to address the needs of the modern soldier, with the ability to manage legacy and future radio systems.
The PELTOR™ TEP-300 (Tactical EarPlugs) provides auditory situational awareness, while protecting from hazardous noise. It features in-ear, acoustical, speech communications microphones and comes with a pocket-sized storage and charging container.
PRODUCT FEATURES
TACTICAL MODULAR AUDIO SYSTEM (TMAS)
An entire new approach to tactical communications. TMAS offers incredible flexibility and scalability to the user's needs. It provides the ability to manage up to two radios, vehicle intercom, mobile connection and multiple channels all at once. This with both legacy and future radio systems.
COMM CAPABILITY
The TEP-300 is fully compatible with the SCU-300 (also without the ComTac VII). This thanks to its in-ear, acoustical, speech communications microphones which pick up sound waves from your voice as you speak.
DUAL HEARING PROTECTION
TEP-300 allows to be used in combination with 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac VII Headset. Together they work with magnetic induction (NFMI) and offer clear in-ear communication while providing a higher SNR for better protection. This without loss of situational awareness.
REMOTE CONTROL UNIT (RCU)
The RCU-300 (separately available with the SCU-300) provides a new way to communicate and adjust your comm system without the need to take your hands off your rifle.
